The work behind
the website.
The challenge
Ruhcare wanted more control over its website experience and therapist presentation while preserving the directory operations that already supported the business.
The approach
The project initially explored a new front end, application logic, and database stack. To work within the available time and budget, the implementation kept Brilliant Directories responsible for signup, member verification, login, dashboards, and email automation. Webflow provided the customizable front end. Two-way synchronization connected the Webflow CMS with the directory data, separating the public experience from the operations already supporting the business.
Preserve the operations; improve the public experience.
Replacing every part of the system would also mean replacing working signup, verification, login, dashboard, and email workflows. Keeping those responsibilities in Brilliant Directories made the boundary clear. Webflow handled the customizable public front end, with two-way CMS synchronization connecting the two systems.
What we worked on
- Customizable Webflow front end
- Connection to the existing directory backend
- Two-way synchronization between Webflow CMS and directory data
- Existing signup, verification, dashboard, and email workflows retained
- Therapist-focused website experience
- Ongoing website development
The outcome
Ruhcare gained a more customizable public-facing website while retaining its directory backend. The relationship has continued through ongoing website work.
